Idea for raising funds

We're almost always full in the guild. I want to try and raise some moolah so we can upgrade to lvl 3! I think Teddy said it costs 10mil to upgrade, so it will take quite a long time to do...but hey, you gotta start somewhere, right? SO. Here are my ideas.

We could host little games/events that cost a small fee to enter. Something maybe like 5k...I dunno. Anyway, we could do different games each time, and have anyone who wants to enter send their fee in the mail to me. Unfortunately all of my ideas revolve around using the pk system, so only members lv 30+ would be able to participate. Some ideas for games I had are:

1-Have everyone gather in a certain place--maybe a room in SP or something, or if there's an instance somewhere we could use, that would be awesome. xD Anyway, everyone pretty much just kills each other. No one is allowed to res, once you're dead, you're disqualified. If someone leaves the designated fight area, they are disqualified. Whoever is the last man/woman standing is the winner, and they will receive a portion of the entry fees as prize money...maybe something like 1k per fee that was entered...so that could really add up, depending on the number of people who are playing. If there aren't many people we could up the prize to 2k per person to make it more...attractive...xD

2-Pick out a pre-determined route between two cities or towns. One person is chosen at random out of the entrants to be the 'runner' and one person to be the 'defender.' The runner's objective is to make it safely from the starting city to the end city. The defender's job is to do everything they can to protect the runner. Everyone else fans out along the route...(I was thinking a good route may be through wolf-totem valley, since it's narrow and long), and waits for the runner to come through. Everyone's goal is to kill the runner--whoever does is the winner, and gets moolah. If the runner manages to make it to the end point without dying, then both the runner and defender receive a portion of the entry fees as their prize. RULE: No mounts are allowed during this contest--except for the defender. No wings, beasts, nothin XD Players are, however, allowed to use items or skills to help them run faster.

I was thinking--if we could find a way to properly organize activities like these, and make them fun, we could raise a hell of a lot of money. Plus, I could make sweet videos when we do these events--that would help promote our guild and help us to get more recognition.

Anyway, if any of you have any input on the ideas I've posted, or if you have any ideas of your own to share, please do! If you think it's a completely stupid idea...let me know, too. XDD I want to know what you guys think.
